Very nice. I would have MTSN or JtacSupply do my upper if I had money to do custom, however I can only afford a RRA right now.

I actually just bought my full lower parts today. I will assemble it tommorow night.

I would whole heartedly recommend MSTN. Wes took the time to answer my myriad of questions, almost daily emails, and delivered the upper in record time and shooting better than promised.

Hmm... kind of sharp, looks like a nice pistol grip and optic. The 4-rail seems king of long though. Realistically, how often are you going to be using a bipod with a 16" barrel?

That optic must have some kind of quick release mount if you have iron sights on there too... I'd like to hear how well that holds zero after you've shot it for a while.

The scope does have throw latches that allow it to quickly be mounted and unmounted. As far as zero shift is concerned I tested it this weekend and found the shift when taking the optic on and off to be negligible. In reference to the bipod I plan on using it quite often since I will be shooting the rifle off a bench or from the prone.

I generally don't like the look of full length rails but your rifle is doing it for me. I really like it.

Thats the Larue SPR mount.. it has a quick detach throw lever that holds zero no matter how many times you release it. Larue honestly makes the best shit ever in terms of scope mounts.

So your the lucky one that got that rifle... Judging by the parts I say you spent well over 2500 for that rifle. I just finished building my SPR peice by peice.. Ill post it up once I get my optics in.

    BTW nice rifle!

I will try to make it out to the range again this weekend, but I am not sure if I will have the time with the whole Easter thing on Sunday.

I'm trying to get a good deal from John on an Afghan Light barrel for my SBR. We'll see if I can come up with some $$$. I know I can get a good deal on a Sabre Defense 14.5" midlength that's chrome-lined, but if I can get the Afghan for roughly the same price, I'm all game. Might be a little bit, though, with other shit going on. Still have to tax stamp my lower.

I like the scope on my Nerf guns. I wonder if that'll mount to a 1913 rail.
