I am attempting to find the owner of domain and I looked it up at http://www.networksolutions.com/whois but the e-mail provided doesn't work. Are there any other sites where I might be able to find more accurate contact info?

i usually use whois.net but it will probably just give you the same info as network solutions

I love finding inaccurate whois info. Makes taking the domain that much easier. :)

Read the TOS on most registrars, ESPECIALLY godaddy.. inaccurate whois info is grounds for account deletion.

Correct. Private WHO IS traces cost a few bucks extra so people who dont want to use that will use false info instead but usually against policy to do so which results in /domain

 Will godaddy actually investigate once they get someone saying, ya domain x is registered under fake information?

Why can't you just email godaddy and take your chances and say, yea the domain is made with wrong information and just hope it is, instead of dishing cash out? :dunno:
