This could be related to my slowly dying motherboard, but I dunno. I'm getting random finder crashes. I can get it to repeat if I right click a file and get info. The second or third time I get info on a file, finder crashes.

I haven't updated to 10.4.10 yet, so I'm hoping that will fix it. I've been leary about updating until I backup everything. I've heard of a few people had to reload OS X after the update.

Where do I go to clean up extensions to programs I've deleted but might still be sitting out there? I use MacJanitor but I know that doesn't clean up any files that might be left behind.

My finder tends to restart when I right-click items. I'm sure it's a context item causing the problem as I have a few programs installed that have added items to the context menu.

I haven't removed them to figure it out yet. I keep forgetting.

This is really pissing me off. Every third right click on anything causes finder to restart. No clue what's causing it. Ugh.

Boot from your startup disc and run Disk Utility. You'll get better results.
