I just passed the last picture I've taken with my (at the time) 4 month old 350D:
    952,740,018 actuations...
    :wtf:
That's nearly one billion shutter cycles.

this was written a long time ago and now the author wants $10 for something that only works with 1 series cameras. It's possible that it only works on the D30 D60 10D and 20D

but i'll post results for what cameras work when a couple other people try it with different cameras

the image also can't be touched by photoshop or anything else since it will usually strip the unknown exif tags that the info is calculated from

    It's from a JPEG.
But the program is showing every other value correctly.

RAW files gives me 38,165, but that's way off, cause that picture was taken on June 4th, and my camera died on July 23rd.

way off for how much you've used it or just off of what it was when it died?

I've taken a few thousand pictures between when that RAW was taken, and when my camera died.

Just checked some old 10D files, raw and jpg and I just get 0 for count so apprently it doesn't work on a 10D.

But I've saved almost every photo taken with the 10D and that's about 18,000 photos.

so I've got like 58,000 actuations and only a couple hundred good photos :o

I mean like 85%+ percent of my pictures don't have any major issues other than they're of the same thing (bracketing) or lacking in the creativity department.

But for pictures you'd order 8x10's or larger of, not as many.

    Same here.
Except I have a lot of pictures ruined because of camera shake and bad focusing.
I really, really suck at those two things when I'm high, and before the 350D broke down, I was high like 24/7.
