Just got home with it, so impressed so far with it, I expected I would have found some flaws being a production gun, but wow it feels just rock solid. I noticed that the slide/frame/barrel/msh and extractor have been etched with the last 3 serial for better fit also...now Im off to the range :big grin:

I'm having a hard time deciding whether to get a nice single stack 1911 or a double stack 2011. Tough choices...

I went to the range, and it ran pretty much 100% except with the 7rd tripp magazine, for some reason the 2nd to last round, the follower seemed to get stuck on the mag catch and would not pop up making it unable to strip a round, or it will strip a round and go 1/3 of the way into the barrel and hang up...it was only the 7rd tripp magazine so Im not too concerned but still weird...

I just realized I was running the stock SA recoil spring which is 2-3 lbs lighter than the standard 16# spring

stock 16#, the stock springfield really light for some reason, racking the slide took a lot more force with the 16# one...

Finally got the gun we've seen all these posts about. :)

She looks pretty, and all guns shoot flawlessly at the range... but does she "run"?

IDPA this weekend at RFG, I'll be running my 1911 in CDP. :coolugh:
