Finally washed a car that was in horrible shape***NEW PICS***

it belongs to a friend who also posts on this board. Its a GTI and hadn't been washed for 5 months as he says. There was bird shit and the remnents of a killed insects all over the front. On the back hatch haha this is funny, a buddy of his drew a penis. I washed over it, didn't come off. Tried a clay bar...didn't come off. now i'm like...:wtf: Then i tried the DACP and finally it worked. I had to use a combination of DACP and the clay bar.
Also on the sides, his friend spit out the window, and yes, it stuck onto the side of the car. I washed over it, didn't come off. Tried to clay bar it, didn't come off. Tried with DACP, it didn't come off! :rant2: I look closer, and I believe it ate through the clearcoat. Well, tough shit for that deal. I continued on with the whole DACP/clay bar process and i need a new claybar now. :eek3: I'm not totally done with the car because it got dark and its too frickin cold. After I couldn't use the claybar, and i was just using the DACP, the door and fender still felt really nasty. :ugh: anyways here's the pics, i'll
    get more tomorrow.

    Products:
    Meguiars Clay Bar

The cold got all the way down to H-town? Winter sucks, eh? I couldn't even work until the afternoon on Tuesday because it was 19 in the morning. It didn't hit 33 until around noon. :(

I'm looking forward to the rest of the pics!

I deleted that thread and started a new one. People couldn't read and thought those were my final pics.

Dry all day here.. Rough day though, mid 50s and the smallest vehicle I had to clean was a club cab Tacoma that was freshly back from the deer lease....dust all through it, etc. I also had a F250, Excursion and Toyota Sequoia (just washes on those three, detail on the Tacoma). Glad all I have tomorrow is cars (C280, Marauder, 540i and Jetta) but it will only reach about 44 for a high.

Hope it dries out and you can finish the car and post pics! :x:

I hope I NEVER have to detail an excursion. It's supposed to be sunny with a high in the 60's. woot. :blue:

Nice work! You probably made the car worth $1000 more in resale.
