Finally my D90 with the 18-105VR came in today. And all I can say its a huge upgrade from my D40 it just feels a lot more robust and serious business ;)

Off to the german crumpler store tomorrow to buy a nice bag.

I did the same upgrade a few weeks ago, and I couldn't be happier (unless it was a D300, D700, or D3, of course. . .).

I'm looking forward to getting the battery grip and REALLY having a camera body that's comfortable in my hands. I just can't decide if I should go with the "budget" Opteka grip or spend extra cash on the Nikon brand grip. . .

I want to do this but all the ones on craigslist sell right away or are too high. I am watching that shit like a hawk now!

just got my d90 3 days ago... love it

it's light and easy to one hand carry around

ken rockwell has a pretty cool guide that explains all the menu settings in depth. it helped me learn the camera better than the manual

I've read a few reviews on the Opteka grip that were positive, but I have no personal experience with it. Have an opinion on Opteka grips?
