pretty much hit everything at about 30yrds, I was quite surprised.
then again I shot mil-specs and ragged out colts before, they were difficult to hit anything with :wtc:

somebody left a bunch of pumpkins at the range, so I pulled out the SKS and blew them up :o

cliffs: Kimber rules, now I want more :hs:

EDIT: mine is the same as pictured except i have night sights

Looks good! I've got the same frame; just gotta finish it and complete the slide I have for it. Ain't nothin' like 1911 versitility/customizability.

I do prefer the all metal guns, but there were a few reasons I ended up with this one, 1st, it holds 13 and when full weighs the same as a standard all metal kimber custom II empty.
2nd price, a new most basic 5" custom II in black finish is about 785 most places i looked. I came across the polymer and took it out the door for 600 after all taxes and fees.

3rd the gun has night sights and is also black (mostly) which is what i was looking for, it also has a smaller grip safety which makes it more comfy, all of these features are things i would have needed to add at additional cost to the basic kimber.

all in all, id say i got a killer deal :)
