Do you still have to cross the quarterdeck to get in and out of the barracks? In Great Lakes, when liberty call finally went down on a Friday I would have to stand in line for like 10-15 minutes just to get out of the barracks, because everyone had to sign out. Wait til you get to a squadron - life is much, MUCH better :bigthumb:

Here, there really isn't a quarterdeck. We're in some old AF barracks, they're like hotel rooms.

They damn well better give us some nice barracks around here. This city sucks, and the base is even worse.

No, but the last 3 AE classes have gone over to one of the squadrons here on base. And one of the squadrons is losing a bunch of AE's so, it's almost 100% that I'm going over there.

You get the GWOT after 30 days of being in the fleet in the Marine Corps. Pretty much the same thing as the firewatch ribbon, just seperates recruits/students from fleet Marines.
