ive posted a couple threads on here about it....i have bought a long list of sensors and such and just couldnt figure out why it was running like shit, well tonight a guy who knows a bunch about vr6's and also owns a corrado came over and we discovered that my knock sensor connector was filled with coolant and my crank sensor connector was melted together, we fixed them as much as possible and now it runs great:):):)

i havent stopped smiling in about an hour now

Time to invest in some new connectors, or to just solder the wires together.

Fucking bumper gap, though. Do all VW's have that?

when i pull the motor for a rebuild in a few weeks its getting a new engine wire harness and il be replacing the sensors that were damaged .

and i hate that bumper gap, but it will also be receiving a new front bumper when i do the motor so im hoping that will fix it

Most corrados do. They have this problem with body panels falling off, lol.

I think it's that whole "to service the engine, first you must remove the front of the fucking car" thing that VW is so fond of.
