    1. Apparently it hates Remington Golden Bullets. Out of 100 rounds, it had about 10 failure to feeds. Hopefully this is an ammo problem. I'll try something higher quality when I can find it.

    2. The trigger has a lot of travel before it breaks. I heard that can easily be fixed though.

    3. It's accurate. I'm not the greatest shot, but I was able to make fist sized groups at 20 yards, offhand.

    4. The magazines need sliders on both sides like GSG-5 magazines.

    5. This is a hand gun that begs for a red dot sigh.

Conclusion: Even with the imperfections, it was worth the $269.

  2. I'm starting to think the 22/45s don't like hollowpoints. Mine won't feed CCI minimag hollow points at all. It feeds the solids flawlessly though.

Mine runs great with federal bulk pack. It hates Winchester Xpert or whatever that stuff is. Trigger is easy to fix and mag loaders are pretty cheap.

Mine does not like golden bullets either. I use Federal bulk with mine. Damn thing is fucking accurate.

I should have specified, HPs, which is why I posted that

  9. I see. My hollowpoints jam themselves into the loading ramp when I use the minimags.

    1. Remington Golden Bullets are pieces of horseshit.

    2. The trigger has a factory overtravel screw which can be adjusted by disassembling the gun. You can stone the spur on the back of the trigger and polish the sear/coat it with some moly grease.

    4. Why?

    5. Mine has a Jpoint.

    I like mine a lot

if you find a really junky, shitty one cheap

I will sell you a stock Mark 3 5" target upper that has like <50 rounds through it for $50.

you just need the grip w/ related errata, the bolt and the MSH

The Remington ammo feeds like shit in most .22's I've seen, not just Rugers. I have a MKIII, not the 22/45 model, and mine eats up all the Federal bulk packs you can throw at it. Never had a single malfunction using that ammo.

MG, how many rounds do you have through your 22/45?

entirely possible that it's still kinda tight/rough, and you just need to put a lot of lead down the tube

that or you need to detail strip it, clean it, and lube it up well

  19. It's probably got 500 through it. I don't shoot it often at all.

I'm lucky that the Golden Bullets run great in my AR 22 or I'd be stuck. I have about 3000 rounds left. Haven't tried them in my Kimber .22 rimfire ... probably won't bother since the Federal Bulk works like a champ.

  25. That wouldn't help with these jams. The bullet actually spears right into the feed ramp where it starts, the ramp makes a huge gash in the bullet. I'll take a pic of it tonight if I remember.
