So it's been since July of 2009 since my camera turned off and didn't turn back on. I had no idea why, but I heard that it was like $300-400 to fix for a flat rate repair. Well, I finally got around to sending it out a week ago, and they quoted be $216 with tax and shipment. Can't wait to get my camera back. Anyone else be without camera gear and have it drive them nuts? Any good stories about repairs with Canon? So far I can't complain, although I wish they could tell me what was wrong before asking me to pay $216
