Remember last week I spent 2 hours fitting half my ambi safety and then I couldn't find the other half? (That didn't require fitting?)

Anyway. I was at my friend's house earlier and I found the missing half! So I installed it.

    BEFORE:
(Stock grip safety, stock thumb safety)

    AFTER:
(Wilson Combat beavertail grip safety, Wilson Combat ambi thumb safety)

Now I just need some better sights and I am DONE with this gun. :bigthumb: Meanwhile, can't wait to get out and shoot it with the new thumb safety. It was fun with the beavertail last weekend! :big grin:

Nice. Now get that black STI short trigger and the black and silver theme will continue.

:nono: That's a whole Wilson Combat trigger/hammer/sear system in there. Breaks like a glass rod. :coold: I also have Wilson springs and a Wilson bushing.

OH. The other thing I need to try is a smaller-radius firing pin stop. Supposed to significantly reduce muzzle-flip. $15. Worth a shot anyway. :)

You know what'd look great on that? The Hogue 1911 laminated wood grips I'm selling for $20. :mamoru:
