After about two months I've finally finished the SBR. It took one month for the Class III paperwork and 20 days for the upper to be built.

    Spike's Tactical (Punisher) lower
    RRA parts kit
    Vltor stock
    ERGO grip
    Gear Sector single point sling
    CMMG 11.5" upper
Midwest Industries MCTAR-20 Free Float handguard
    YHM rear flip up sight

Should be accurate out 200 yards or so, at least that's what I'm hearing... otherwise it's a cool little toy.

 at not a very useful gun

that gun may be accurate to 200 yards, but platinumthunder can pee in anyone's cheerios from a distance of 300 yards.

That "Punisher" lower tells me it's a business gun.

Don't sweat P_T, he has a 16.5" barrel and he can't shoot any better than if it was a 7.5". Get a Troy rear sight and an Aimpoint in a LaRue Tactical LT-150 and you've got a bonafide fighting carbine.

    Nice stick.

That's the plan, looking at a YHM Phantom!

Wasn't sure if I was going to get a Reflex or Aimpoint. I like the no battery with a Trijicon, but Aimpoints are proven sights and the LaRue mount Aimpoints are cool.

Anything under 16 inches on a rifle and 18 on a shotgun.
