Goto the Settings and turn off auto-correction if you hate it. I'll giggle a bit if they release a new iPhone just before 3.0 is released.

It's very hard to brick the iPhone with jailbreaking. Seriously...if you mess up then you just restore.

were you a naysayer/hater when it came to the iPhone/anything Apple? People just don't understand how much easier/better things are with their products. Sure they are not perfect, but they sure do work better than the competition, IMO.

And jailbreaking is easy to do, and easily reversible. Just do it. By far the best iPhone website out there. modmyi.com

I have a G4 powerbook, a macbook pro, an ipod shuffle, an ipod classic 120, an ipod 2nd gen, and a dead 80gig ipod video, and now an iphone.

I wouldnt call myself an apple hater. :wiggle:

So if I jail break the thing all the features are still going to work? even the AT&T spacific ones?

yep, nothing goes away and everything continues to work as is. and this is coming from someone who is very hesitant to mod anything.

Yes. You can even still use the app store and buy apps or just download the free ones that you want.

Should've waited a few months for the new iPhone IMO.

Of course there's always gonna be something better coming out. But in this case we know there's a new iPhone coming out in June. If you don't have one already, why not just wait a few more months for the latest and greatest one. If this were around Dec, then maybe I wouldn't wait that long and just go with what's available.

You can make your own ringtones using Garageband. There's an export to iTunes as ringtone option.
