Ive been debating it for awhile and really wanted to but haven't really had the opportunity. Now Im starting to pay off all of my bills and should be debt free by october so I decided to take the plunge and Im going to go to thailand for 4 - 6 months and train. Have a couple of freinds that went for 2 months and they come back uber conditioned and they are alot tougher. So Im going to do it. Getting my ass in gear now to pay my bills off faster.

From all the pics of guys training in Thailand, I've never seen a single on of them wearing headgear, much less a fencing mask.

You're in for a long trip.

That's inspiring. I've been looking for a reason just to get up and leave for awhile.

    Keep us updated with pics.

I will got to get a digital cam too

from what I hear most of the camps do very light sparing like 20 - 30 percent nothing to serious just to practice your tech and see how things work for you. They spar in a way that lets you work and then you go all out on the pads and bags. Ive seen videos of the thai pad work and its insane the trainers really know how to feed and keep you working

Im still looking alot of guys gym hop but I want to stay at the same gym the whole time and work hard. I was looking into jitti gym because Ive been hearing some good things and also reading up on horizon but Im still looking the first step really is try and figure out which gym im going to Ive been reading up on several sites and reading through gym reviews. Bassically what I want is a gym with decent hands relatively cheap privates so I can get alot of technique work in and decent prices.

Im staying away from bangkok in general because the air is very polluted there and everythings expensive from what I hear. I might hit up fairtex for a few days before I go to the main gym and after since I will be flying in and out of bangkok. I will be training hard right before I go out there so the adjustment wont be to bad and I'll probably fight there after 2 - 3 months and Im going to talk to my old gym so I can get a fight down here as soon as I come back.

Cant wait to see the guy I fights face when I come down after training 30 - 40 hours a week and the other guys been training 5 - 10 lol. Im all about working harder then the other guy.

lol foo. I reset my budget so I wont be eating as much or going out at all for the next couple of weeks so I can pay my visa bill off faster. I really have to eliminate my debt before I can do this so Im getting all my ducks in a row now. So far my debt is

    Visa 1700
Bloomingdales card $4 (im serious lol)
    MC 2300
    Student loan 2400

So my next pay check im gonna throw down 400 on my visa and then the following week throw down 300 and try to pay this bitch off as fast as I can. Im going to try and pay my visa off by June so I can go this winter to thailand thats my goal right now.

Yeah I cant really afford that in the position Im in now. Im gonna finish at this tech school im going to in august so I might keep this night job for awhile and start working at this other place that pays more when Im done so I can pay my bills off faster and then have money to go train.
