I was gonna ask if anyone noticed in #14 that the bass player in the background was pasted into the photo in photoshop. When you really look closely I think it's obvious his head doesn't fit on the body below very well, but I wasn't sure. Before he was making a really creepy face into the camera and I couldn't deal with it.

i never even noticed him there, now that you mention it....

    1. photoshop him out entirely

    or

    2. resize his head and make it line up with his white shirt collar, his collar atm goes up into the middle of his neck

I'll give you an idea of the actual work:

Better position, creepy face in background

Worse position, neutral face in background

    Worked

It's not hard work, but it's the kind of thing that if it's obvious it would pretty much ruin the shot.

take him out entirely imo, and now that i can actualy see him, what i thought was his collar is actualy just a combination of his skin and shadow from his jaw. nm the collar into the neck thing.

cut out the background guy, that annoying light, and cropped some of the upper black off

For how much I paid for it, I can't believe how sharp it is wide open.

It's like, 150 bucks in Canada. The Nikon one is about twice as expensive as the Canon 50mm. So not THAT cheap. Looking back on it I should have gotten it used, but it was something of an impulse buy.
