finally broke the 200 barrier (sp?) on bench

    i broke my shoulder in football last year had surgery and ive been working my way up again

    i finally maxed out at 205

    damn does it feel good

    oh and im 16

    5'10
    174 pounds
    and 13% BF

    Awesome bro, I'm about to break it soon too. I figure 185x6 should translate into 205x1 am I rite?

    I just hit 200lbs too. I weigh about 165-170lbs. :wiggle:

    Feels good, I'm really into lifting now. I always lifted for a while then quit in the past but not this time. :hs:

    congrats man. thats a decent jump in nubers considering a shoulder injury between. i hit 200 a few weeks ago at 145 but was stuck at 185 before lol

    more like 210, MAYBE 215. Depends on if you could have done more at 185x6

    Good job, I was at about 225-235 my senior year, I had mostly stopped doing barbell bench after that but in the last year I went from 225 to my personal best at 285. That said I haven't been to the gym in a month or two. Oh and I weigh 205 now, 185 in hs

    :dunno: I bench 185x6, 205x4 and I hit 225 twice last night. Although I may be able to eek out 1 or 2 more at 185

    most i can do now is 260x5x2

    Yeah thats the thing, you could probably do 185 close to 10 times actually.

    I go heavy and haven't had a spotter for several years now. Not having a spotter is no excuse. You're just holding yourself back by thinking that way.
