Now, is that thing bad-ass or what?
im pretty sure thats 993kgt
man, that is so tactical.
That's perfect for killing zombies/robots/crackheads/otherangrydrivers.
I honestly thought about incorporating him into the thread title.
1911 + Ak = Wtf?
its actually not that bad.. im just not so sure about that front vertical grip.. but then again, I never used one.. however, many AK's came with a wooden vertical front grip..
the flashlight is good for night operations, and as far as the red-dot being mounted so far toward the muzzle, its really the best spot.. there are a lot of good red-dots that mount on the side mount, and sit above the dust cover, but if you want one of the more mainstream american red-dots (aimpoint, trijicon, eotech, etc), then its better to mount it above the barrel like it is. The above-the-dustcover weaver and pictanny mounts are pretty high from what I hear.. there are some lower profile mounts available, which might be a better choice..
but, in the end, the way they made that gun, they would be better off with an AR, and if they wanted a larger round, an AR10.
The front grip would hinder reloading the magazine. They make an offset front grip just for AKs though that doesn't get in the way when you have to rock the magazine in. The original wooden ones lean forward for that reason but they feel weird.
Lets see, first we ditch the m4 stock, dump the tacticool front grip that will slow down mag reloads.
I've got a wood one on my SAR that goes back fairly comfortable doesnt interfere with mag changes though cause it doesnt stick out far enough to.
Don't need to worry about the front grip and reloads though, because when you're fighting zombies, you have unlimited ammo.
That's probably a Kreb's Kustoms AK. In which case, it's a great AK, but they cost as much as a similarly equipped AR, which is retarded.
They start with a VEPR, and do all that fun stuff to it. They have kickass triggers, AR collapsible stocks, railed forends, railed dust covers, all sorts of flash hiders, etc. as options. So, you end up with a true Russian AK, but you spend a shit load. If I bought an AK these days, I'd just get an Arsenal AK.
Agreed on Arsenal or ORF AK if I was buying one today. the Krebs are nice but only thing on that I like is the handgrips, but I like the traditional style/size handgrips better, they need to start putting Galil style dustcovers on them to improve the sights then it'de be perfect. I have a RSA trigger in my SAR1 I love it. But I totally hate any sort of m4 style stock on an AK, I rather have the current issue russian synthetic sidefolder, or underfolder like my Norinco
unless you're in some dirty terrain and an environment where you wont be able to clean your gun everyday..
then the AK > AR
i never expected this reaction from you
Go mallninja, mallninja GO
Go mallninja, mallninja GO
GO GO GO GO
...too tacticool for me. though I do like the pistol grip. Green paint wtf?
I prefer my AK's to look like AK's, and my AR's to look like AR's, with the AK, simple is better, at least that's how I look at it.
with my SAR1 and wood stock i know if I buttstroke someone acrosss the face im going to break there jaw, with that m4 style shit the stock will break the only real improvment the AK needs is better iron sights.
Thats just mean looking...I love it
That's just your green fetish showing.
Actually, I kinda dig it.
The green is just wrong, AK's are suppose to be black and wood, or all black.
This souly defeats the purpose of what the AK47 was intended to do. When you take a basic reliable weapon and try to nigger it out to look like an AR, all your doing is making a simple weapon complex, and it will only lead you to failure in the field. Hopefully the idiot that built that thing never has to use it in a life or death situation. He should just hang it on the wall next to the other Darwin award winners.
Nothing added changes the function of the rifle. RSA triggers have been swapped out in AK's for years, with no reliability concerns. The trigger on this one is probably one of the best you'll find on an AK. Like I said, it's a TRUE Russian AK. It's not any less reliable than any other AK.
