Well after about a MONTH I finally have my 870 Super Mag., I opted to go with the 28" barrel over the 26" because I didnt feel like waiting any longer. Now to send in for my rebate, and when all is said and done; I paid $219.87

So long as the weather holds up for next weekend, im going to break this bitch in with some slugs :wavey:

I am now ready for a zombie attack!

I never stated it was for home defense, 4+1 doesnt exactly give you much to go with, my "home defense" is going to be a 20" 8+1 12 guage I should be picking up in the next month or two.

It looks exactly the same as every other Synthetic 28" barreled 870 Super Mag... what would you want pics for? I should be going up north next weekend if the weather is decent, I will get some photos of that... then OT can see my ugly mug some more :naughty:

If you need MORE than 5 rounds from a shotgun to put the bandit down, you fail at life.

You need more then 5 rounds for Zombies... them suckers are tough! My "home defense" weapon will also be what I take to my property to shoot around and what not, its more just because I am lazy and the less reloading I need to do the better :wiggle:

Only if your a bad shot, 1 3" slug to the head will put a zombie down. I do not favor shotguns for this purpose although some advocate them if theres several zombies you will end up getting overrun trying to reload every few rounds. Unless you have a streetsweeper or other high capacity shotgun, perhaps saiga12 with 10 round mags, I would not bother.

Well thats why the less reloading I have to do the better, 8+1 is a lot of lead flying... and the 870 I have has a 5 round tube I can get, which will make it 9+1.

Someone even mentioned there might be a plug in the tube I got now thats limiting it to 4, havent bothered to look yet... I guess I should eh? Ive got 100 slugs, most 1oz, a couple that are 1 3/8 oz - I will probably shoot a couple slugs next weekend to see which ones im going to use as my zombie stoppers. Brenneke makes the nice "black magic" slugs, bitches are for dangerous animals like bears, maybe they should list zombies on the box too! :p

Cool, yeah check the tube out might be a wood block in there, I picked up a box but havn't tried yet, some Wolf shells, amazingly several people on arfcom are giving Wolf shells good reviews. Next range trip I'll tryem out in my mossy.

But like I said, im going to be picking up another 12 guage that will be my zombie killer, this thing is only going to kill aminals. (yes, I know I spelled it wrong)
