    :madfawk:

    WTF

I killed velius (that's the right name, right?) easily, that was no problem.

All my guys are between 30-33 in levels. I can not for the life of me beat the Marquis. His stupid ass and stupid fucking assassins keep killing Rafa before I even have a chance to end the battle quickly.
Ramza: Lancer also mastered monk Agrias: Holy knight Extra1: Ninja mastered Extra2: Summoner close to master Extra3: Black wizard close to mastered.

She just walks around and gets killed with no concern as to how she might be able to avoid that.

Starting to really piss me off I've been playing this same battle for four days now, and most of the time I can't even get to the second round before Rafa is killed :squint:

What do you do? What. Do. You do?

Remove the helmet/clothes from one or two of your units. This will cause(hopefully) the assassins to target them instead of Rapha. In the meantime you can target any of the three enemies with a high powered spell/atack. You only need to weaken one of the enemies enough to win the fight, so concentrate all of your offense on the same target. It might take a few tries, but it'll work eventually.

will that really work? I'll try that out.

My summoner can cast salamander and bahamut  Black mage has all the level 4 spells. They absolutely owned velius.

None of my characters can be calculators and I've never used them before :o

That would be correct, albeit impractical in your current predicament. In any case...

Go Full Monk and use the extra strength to target one particular assassin. Use Agrias' Holy Knight skills to attack the same assassin with Lightning Stab (it's been a long time since I've played, so forgive any "mistakes" on my part). Your summoner is utterly useless in this fight... might as well make her a prime target as mentioned above. What other classes are "mastered" for your Black Wizard? Perhaps you should have another Ninja for a speedy move before the assassin get anything done.

To be completely honest, it's difficult to help without knowing exactly what your skillset is, what kind of items you have available for your crew and all that good stuff. It's like being asked to help solve a chess puzzle without knowing the location of half the pawns/pieces.

Put Chameleon robes on everyone and reflect Holy using the Calculator? :mamoru:

That shit was so damn broken

That rooftop map was one of the hardest maps after Velius. With Velius I had to use Ramza as a super squire and buff up his speed using his buff up move. After awhile I was doing 3 moves to his 1 move :hsugh:

I was thinking about doing that

But I don't feel like leveling him from level 1 to 38 (what my chars are at right now)

I feel like since Bariaus Hill I've just not done a whole lot of extra leveling, but with my kick-ass party I've never really had a problem yet.

I hate getting a new character and having to replace one of your good ones you've worked so hard to build up.

My master summoner is fucking awesome, my master black mage is awesome, and my master ninja is awesome too. But now that I have agrias/melaiduel/orlandu I just have to pick one of the three to use.

I've always figured Mustadio sucks and never really thought about using him, ever.

I need to play through one time and use all the characters I don't normally use because the holy knights are usually just way more powerful than the others, and their skills never fail.

I've never gone through the game and actually stolen anything :o

I know i'm missing out on some sweet gear but I always feel like the thief will die long before they successfully steal something.

:werd: I'd pick this up in a second... especially if it's the re-translated version that came out on PSP... although it's doubtful to be anything but a straight PSone port :hs:

i've tried all the FFT wannabes, but none of them have the same...something as FFT. Something is missing from all the sequels/copies, whatever it is it's important because I've played the ones on GBA and DS and they're just boring as fuck with no real purpose other than the fights themselves
