Poly and Norinco prices should be the same, WASR I would pay absolutely no more then $320 out the door unless its got some extras, SAR1 $350ish OTD unless its got extras, FAL and G3 varient prices vary greatly depending on parts and builder, stripped lower $100, built upper maker and stock on it can make the price vary but for a std A2 prebuilt lower new $215ish tops OTD, AR and AK mags $10, $15 if its bolt hold open AK mag, M1A mags just stole a couple yesterday for a hell of a deal only buy USGI or Chicom ones do not buy 30 rounders there garbage so are the thermolds, USGI used $20-30, USGI new $40-50, ChiCom $20-40.

What's the story one Romanian AKs? I passed on one for $319 + tax today. Magazine rattled a little too much, like a dremeled AK. Plus it was sitting a little too close to the SAIGA :o

Most current Romy rifles floating around now a days are WASR's(What A Shitty Rifle) Then the number designation 1=7.62x39, 2=5.45, 3=5.56(number designations are also the same with other romy rifles SAR, WUM, etc) The WASR's started life with their recievers meant to take single stack magazines the monkeys that work at century dremeled them out to take standard AK mag's and replaced the FCG with there shitty ones. When you buy one you have to be willing to accept you'll probably have to replace the trigger group($35-$75) after that there pretty decent beater rifles.

BTW alot of AK's will have a little play with mag wobble its not just the Romy ones but the Romy wobble can be pretty bad but they still feed.

Why haven't I seen these single stacks? Are they not floating around? I would think a single stack would be a non issue for selling an AK variant. Not-quite-as-high-capacity mags..

They were around alot a few years ago you could buyem for like $220, I guess Century decided it was more profitable for them to convert them and sellem for an extra $100. :dunno: If you watch Lost it appears the AK's they use on that show are WASR's in there original single stack configuration.

:werd: Only mags I'll pay more then $10 for are some of the rarer Russian ones I need more slabsides, the 7.62 bakelites are cool got a couple of those but I prefer steel to the bakelites. The Bosnian mags are pretty cool too.
