file type question

    my buddy sent me some music in m4a format. (he uses itunes). how do i get them in mp3 format (i dont have itunes). am i fucked?

    dont do it. M4a and mp3 are different lossy codecs, and transcoding from m4a to mp3 will result in a file with the defects of BOTH formats. You're better off using a player such as Winamp or iTunes (both free) to support your m4a and your mp3 music.
