G'day all, this seems like as good of a place as any to ask a question.

Ive been having problems with macs randomly changing the capitalization of file names.

ive created loads of htm and jpg/gif files etc on a PC, never have problems, yet when i copy them to a mac sometimes the extrention is capitialized, sometimes the file name, sometimes both, sometimes neither.

doesnt happen when copying to other PCs or linux boxes.

normally i wouldnt care, but its throwing all my linking etc off within the html files.

    so i guess i have 2 questions.
    A> why?
    and
B> is there anyway on the macs where i could 'select all' and then have some kind of 'convert to lower case' option?

Woudn't that just change the file name and not the extention though?

I don't think i'd chalk it up to a Mac problem but I could be wrong. I've never experienced this but then again if the extension is capitalized or not, most programs will read it either way, even in html code.
