if they were my size I'd pick up a pair of trousers to cut off and wash in ammonia....fades the shit and makes some cool looking shorts.

did that with a pair of ACUs and some dude went fucking ballistic on me at the PX. I bought them, I own them, they are mine, fuck off.

 when my bro got out i had him do the same and mail them to me. They're the shorts in my AV. i've seen similar shorts that are fake BDU style sell for $50 (places like zumies and pac sun). :mamoru: @ skaters spending $50 on cut cammie trousers. You could try craigslist, sell in bulk. (if you have bulk)

make sure you wash them in ammonia.

toss a cup in the washer after the water has filled up. otherwise the fading is uneven.

might have to do it more than once but it looks pretty cool when you're done and it makes them soft as shit.

hmm.. sounds like a good idea. they look cool all frayed out too, dont hem them! i was wearing desert ones while i was hiking in the forest behind my house, and we accidentally started a fire that kept burning pine needles UP the rocks, so long story short, i took my shorts off and started smothering the fire! Being the genius I am, i totally forgot about the creek no more than 100ft behind me. :mamoru:

the shorts have burn marks on them now that look kinda cool i guess.
