    right before bed?

    cottage cheese is good

but if you don't want to take in any calories at all, try sugar-free jello

Before bed you want to stay away from Carbs if you are trying to cut fat.

Some fats are ok, because it will keep your metabolism going throughout the night.

    I advise:

    Low fat cottage cheese
    Eggs (mostly whites)
    Peanuts/Almonds
    Apple with peanutbutter
    Casein protein shake
    Salad with a lowfat dressing
    Sugar-free jello
    Sugar-free pudding

Any of these would work to curb the appetite.

What I like to do is get some cottage cheese (low fat, low carb and lots of protein) with an apple and some peanutbutter. You get some good-quality fats from the peanutbutter, fiber from the apple, and high protein from the cottage cheese.

My dog loves peanut butter and apples. I was eating an apple one day and she kept begging me for some. I told her, you're a dog, you won't like apples. I finally gave in and gave her a piece and she loved it. Apples are her favorite treat!! Silly dog!!

I have the same problem. I eat great all day and then about 2 hours after dinner, sometimes even an hour, I start snacking. Even If I am nto really hungry. I have started to snack on Kashi go Lean mixed with a little fat free plain yogurt. I'm going to have to try the pudding.
This late night snacking kills me because its keeping me from getting rid of those last 3 lbs and shedding fat.
    SUCKS. :)
