Its good but boxing aint my thing. Ill pick it up when it hits the bargain bin. I had FNR3 and got bored of it pretty quick before selling it.

Boxing games are only good when you have friends over. I dont have the patience dealing with the 8yr old spammers on XBL, theyre a dime a dozen. :greddy:

^Demo sucked cause of no more face buttons, wtf is up with that? Using the RS for all your punches is lame. But then again I cant take boxing seriously anyway, I just end up spamming the RS with whatever comes out lol. Its too linear of a sport to interest me.

it is kinda dumb that it doesn't give you the option to switch it to the older controls like in FNR3. i think when you get a feel for the stick it plays pretty well though

I liked using face buttons in 3 to make it easier :wtc:

So the sport is too linear, yet you want to simplify it even more by using face buttons? :hsugh: I don't know anything about boxing but the RS wasn't hard to use in FNR3. Going to try this one in a bit.

It's fun but where are the changes?

The new way of recovering after a knockdown is better, but the addition of health, stamina and block bars and the recovery of those seems odd.

Demo is useless aswell. 2 fucking rounds, way to go :ugh2:

I don't usually base games on the demo to much being that it is limited to what the games real potential is. Just like undisputed I have pre ordered this and like undisputed I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Just played the demo on PS3, though I'd get it for 360 to play with a friend who might get it. The graphics are beautiful, the only problem is the camera is kind of dizzying. The controls are fine IMO. Punches don't feel like they have as much of an impact as Round 3, but maybe that's because I kind of forgot how to play. I feel like the huge haymakers aren't there anymore. :dunno:

Other than that it seems solid.

well it is a welterweight fight. to me it feels pretty sick to land a 3 jab combo and then mix in some uppercuts :coold:

i'm sure the heavyweight fights will be much different

That's also true, didn't even realize that. :hs: The game does feel good when you get in the groove. I don't really know anything about boxing but can still get into it. I think it will be just as fun as Round 3.

Another thing to consider is the release time frame. When Round 3 came out it looked amazing at the time. Now games are looking better and better, so this doesn't seem as impressive at first but it still looks REALLY good, especially if you have a TV with good visual effects.

there are also tons of changes that EA has already stated will be in final version

one being stamina will be less, punches will be more effective and feel "snappier", ratings will be updated, less flashes that you see during some hits, less dizzying camera effect
