eh :hs: I like it I honestly do. But what the fuck at not being able to use the face buttons. I don't like punching with that gay stick. I would try to do combos and land uppercuts and it would throw body hooks and shit. I think that should only be an option if someone wants to use that garbage. I might not buy it because of that, which is sad because it looks like the old fight night to me.

I thought that was one of the coolest bits about the game.

It's like Skate, as soon as you have the motions down you can really get some fluid fighting down.

If it stops all the damn button bashers online, I'm all for it. It forces you to think about your moves.

You want to throw a hook and you get a body shot? Are you retarded?

A right body shot is done by pushing the stick horizontal right and then sweep around to the top and middle.

A right hook is done by pushing the down and sweeping around to the top and middle.

    You fucking suck.

Oh actually, you get a 'body hook' by flicking the stick right or left. Even so, its fairly easy to execute an uppercut when you want and a body shot when you want.

I was ranked #34 online on Fight Night 2004. I'm far from a button masher. I am excellent at counters/blocks/parrying. That goes for UFC too. I've learned how to block and pick shit apart. I just like having complete control it seems like it's not fluent and not easy to have combos.

the demo was super disappointing for me. it seems like it's so much more cartoony now. all they needed to do was upgrade the graphics from fnr3, add more animations, improve career mode, add custom entrances and shit, and that's it. they didn't need to change the actual look of the game.

and they SHOULD allow playing with a combination of buttons/stick, like in the first one, but give you the OPTION to play with the stick only.

I started to download the demo, but the screenshots alone made me not do it.

    That's sad.

I think they just ban face buttons from online play, but let people use them in single player if they want.

you were ranked #34 BECAUSE you used the buttons

congratulations, now learn the way the game was meant to be played. It's been designed for the sticks since FN1, not their or our fault you never learned them.

I agree they should be able to be used for single player but definitely happy that they are gone from online.

you don't get it. they could give you the OPTION to play either "stick only" or "stick+button" matches online. so the people that want to only use the stick can play people that only use the stick, and people that want to play with the buttons+stick can still play like that online.
