i'm really surprised at that
No surprise. The GTi is a better car in pretty much every way, and it costs less here in the U.S.
I'd choose the GTi if I had to choose between the two.
They were on a track. You can only go so far before you have to slow down for a corner.
id really like a new gti
You couldn't pay me to drive the new GTI.
It's a nice, solid car.
It's a piece of shit that is trumped by everything in its class.
they need to redeisgn the GTI
Uh, what? Compared to what cars?
The Cooper S, Mazdaspeed 3, and Civic Si. I'd own any one before I'd buy the GTI.
thanks for your input
All good cars, but none of them are perfect. I think the GTI is the best all around package when compared to any of those. Also, check out the forums concerning some of the new Si's issues, I'd never own one.
Go fuck a boomerang.
i think the GTi needs another 50 horsepower
When I went shopping for a new daily, I drove the GTI and was terribly disappointed. The only saving grace was its interior because nothing about it made me want to own one.
GTI i just got an 05 and i love it
If you don't like it, you don't like it. Can't blame you for that.
I've driven all of them but the Mazdaspeed 3 and compared to my STi none of them really felt like all that much fun. The Si was good to drive, but then after reading about all the thin paint reports, suspension issues, and transmission issues it's doubtful that I could own one. The Mini is nice, but didn't feel like much of a drivers car like everybody says it is, at least not to the point that I'm used to.
The GTI just felt like a nice, solid car. No Miata for sure, but a good car with a healthy amount of horsepower and a very well screwed together interior.
Ah well then, I don't know. But the WRX she had may be ECU limited to 130. My STi won't go faster than 155 without a reflash.
....and the reason why I couldn't get myself to buy a Mini is the terrible interior layout. I can't deal with the fucking clown sized speedometer.
Three wheeling in a GTI should be easy.
now im sure you are a moron
Because I prefer cars that are actually enjoyable to drive?
Yep, but I only got it up there once, so it didn't really hold me back.
