ugh, i just typed up a bunch of shit and then OT timed out.
1 = cool, nice composition
last one = cool, needs more focus
back of head = cool
waterfall = too soft
waterfall was the best, but don't you think its a little too cliche?
It is cliche, but it's hard to think about stuff like that when you're stoned.
Nothing's perfect, eh?
This is the best one because of the lens flare
It's not a plugin flare either.
As for the waterfall picture... No shit it's soft.
Kit lens ( ), 1 second shutter, and stabilisation provided by some tree.
I like the 2nd to last one the best.
no need to get defensive
i was just saying why i didnt like it.
but the first one is as good as i think that pic gets..
very nice pix. keep up the good work.
That wasn't defensive.
I was merely explaining why that picture is soft.
I really like fuckyouall4.jpg but i think it would have even been better if you included the whole house...
Nah, there was an ugly "shit for sale" sign next to the house, and it was getting in the way.
Besides, this way I can follow the rule of thirds.
I like the waterfall one too
Branches are a bit distracting and could be sharper I think
This would be good if you had the whole house in the frame.
I like the house one best. I disagree with whoever didn't like it and said you should've put the whole house in. Nup. It looks best as is. I love the background to it. Very nice.
I don't like all the reddish brown shit above the waterfall, and the branches
It was a national park, one of the best in all of Europe, so it wouldn't feel right to just snap those branches away.
And the water was so clean there.
There was a stream, and the water in it was so clean and pure.
You could drink it straight up, without any boiling and shit.
I think I did a pretty good job on dodging and burning that black and white one.
Parts of the bridge were very underexposed, and the bushes in the background overexposed.
I like the way it turned out.
(Well, almost original. The original pic isn't black and white, so apart for a simple monochromatic conversion, this is the original)
Versus finished result:
the original looks better
The second one needs more contrast. I think you went a bit too far with the dodging.
