I don't post in here a whole bunch but I'm working to fix that.

I had a photoshoot today so I worked on getting some new stuff in my studio setup. I figured I would take a few pics...

I still need to finish the changing area and get a 2nd set of wheels for the other cart (darn IKEA for being sold out :mad;)

Just though I would share. Once I get some of the photos edited from todays shoot I will also post them. :)

It is cramped... I can do a full body at 70mm (FF) just barely. :hs: Bigger problem is getting space between the model and the background. Fine if I'm doing head shots but full body... :sad2:

It's the best I can do in this house... it's mostly for my test stuff... if a client wants something I have plenty of studios around that I can rent space from.

sand bags... they are used to put on the light stand either on the bottom or on the end of a boom as counter balance.

It's actually really nice! Just reach up and pull a roll down... then there is an adapter that screws into each side and you put the new one up. Fast... Simple and one man job :bigthumb:

now... the weights on the bottom? those suck MAJOR ass!... I'm hoping that I get quicker at those or I'm just going to resort to some a-clamps. :hs:

we used 2 pieces of metal that just clamp or screw together on the ends, but then again the holder held 3 rolls, so taking it up and down isn't a everyday occurance. Magnetic strips might work too

I am probably just going to go the q-flash route. Can't afford/don't really need dyanlite's or alienbees or shit like that.
