    Photo 1:
    The Depth of Field is too shallow.

    Photo 2:
    Boring. Nothing special about this picture.

    Photo 3:
    The picture appears to be off-focus. Again, stop down the aperture some to increase your depth of field too.

    Anyone can buy a lens with a large aperture and shoot wide-open. The key to skill is knowing how much depth of field is necessary and how to get it.
