I need a pocket clip.. is there such a thing?
I can't find my Nuwai Q3.
Ah, a Fenix thread. Now paging Handlobraesing or whatever he goes by nowadays so he can tell you what a horrific deal it is and that it's worse for you as a person than lead-based paint.
Don't they sell those on dealextreme.com?
The only thing you are getting out of buying a Surefire or some other tacti-cool brand that costs way too much, is a better regulator. Instead of your light shutting off when the batteries are low, it will fade out (this is how it was described to me). Not worth spending 10x as much on a Surefire.
that's the truth
SureFire A2 Aviator
I spend too much on lights already.
The G2 is mounted on the AR, the DigiLight is going on the S12, the TLR-1 goes on the Operator or the Steyr, the A2 is general use, and the Nuwai was EDC, but I can't find it. So I need a new 1xCR123 that clips on the pocket.
I kind of want to sell my E2E and get a Fenix, or anything else that doesn't eat batteries4.
That's why I got the A2.. LED low output mode, with incandescent if I need it.
HAHA, that's great. He even use to go to school with me, I'd invited him out for coffee with some CPF guys a few times, no show....
As to a clip, I'm not sure if anything's available. I'll ask a couple guys I know that are up to date on Fenix lights tho.
And also with Surefire's you're generally also paying for a nicer more durable finish and a lifetime warrantee. With that said, I own SF's, Fenix's and a bunch of others.
Oregon State crew hollaaa!
Let me know if you wanna go shoot sometime or somethin'
It's been a while since I've been shooting
I'm always down, just not in town enough lately. Hopefully before too long, I've got a membership at ARPC too.
How much? I need a new flashlight.
More durable? True. Better warranty? Maybe on paper. If you buy from fenix-store, the guys there will provide much better service than Surefire. It won't take more than a week to get your light back after you send it in.
All Fenix lights have regulation.
52.xx is what I found.
amondotech is no more
That aint bad.
I've been tempted by one of these for a while, how closed to the rated performance does it actually come both in terms of lumens and life?
i love my p3d 100
they make any good pocket flashlights that run on a regular battery like AA or even C/D and not some odd ball size? Or should I just invest in rechargeable lithium batteries if I get one?
I was using that as a blanket statement as lots of other brands of lights were mentioned. The Fenix store is great for their inhouse warrantee'ing.
I'm not affiliated with them. Just a satisfied customer.
This is the updated version with the Rebel LED. It's slightly brighter than the P2D CE, but still retains the same runtime.
$55 - 8% CPF discount + free shipping = $50.60 FTW
It's up to you, they have a lot of different models, alot of which can be converted to other models, which is fucking cool. I like the CR123 shelf life and use life, so I'll keep using those.
I've bought from fenix-store.com a number of times and have always experienced top-notch service. Other places might sell it for less, but fenix-store.com will stand behind the product and help you out.
