    Well, since it's a sig, it's automatically worth $500, even if it looks like it's been dragged behind a rally car up pikes peak. The word "Elite" is an automatic +$500 to whatever pricetag is involved. Sig mags are worth like $60 each retail, so I think 1120 would be a good starting point if he's got both factory mags, and that's in horrid condition. In excellent condition, especially with the political environment being the way it is, it's probably worth close to $1500-$1700. Now, that seems expensive for a pistol, but if you list it on gun sites reccomend a straight trade for a Sig 556, a FN P90, or a FN SCAR.

    seriously though, i paid $400 at a gun shop for my 229.

    Check SigForum for prices. Usually Elite's go new for around $950-1k in gun shops. Probably worth $800-850 to the right person.
