Any songs you listen to that put you in a good (or better) mood?
blues usually puts me in a pretty good mood, classic rock, some electronic
I GOTTA FEELIN' WOOOO HOOOO
THAT TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOOD NIGHT!
Hey man, give a listen to some Jack Johnson, that should mellow you right out
U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
DJ Mehdi - Signatune (Thomas Bangalter Edit)
I was in a down mood the other day and I started listening to Oasis. Listening to Oasis always puts me in a good mood.
muse - feeling good
Edward Sharpe and the magnetic Zeros: Home, 40 day dream. Extremely upbeat and 60'ish.
The Cramps: Bop Pills (Any Cramps makes me smile).
Ride: Vapour Trail or Taste. Vapour Trail has about the best second half of a song out there. The guy from Ride years later went to Oasis and you can tell where Oasis ripped off a bunch of their stuff from. It's not nearly as good though.
If you like really beautiful drony shimmery guitars and angelic voices in your rock then listen to Slowdive- Souvlaki. Start with Machine Gun as the first song. It'll send you off in a second.
If you like Punk then listen to the best punk band ever to come out of America and the first real one in the US:
Crime- Frustration and San Fracisco's Doomed. Real raw and it makes me feel better after.
