feel as im getting no where, before and after no imporovment really!! PICS

    Here are some before and after photos about 9 months apart from each other. I been trying to gain clean weight "no mcdonalds, fast food etc" but it seems to me really nothing happened. I think i look a little bigger,but my stomach also looks less defined. Im trying to get a cut apperance but some size as well. I have gotten alot stronger in numbers,but my physical apperance doesnt even seem like i workout. I have been taking cytogainer for a few months now, i think it has made me bigger,but also like sloppy? Please help me change! I bascially foloow the 5-6 reps per set, and do 2 body parts a day at the gym.

    yes. i have been pretty strict because im serious about getting in proper shape. SO i stopped eating all those high fat fast food, deep fried etc. I eat usually cereal or oatmeal for breakfast, lunch some sandwiches such as turkey, pretzels,fruit, and maybe a protein bar. Lunch i usually have a healthy cooked dinner every night such as chicken, pasta, etc.

    no the drinks alone are 600 a peice and i drink 3 a day. That is what the bottle says,but i dont know if that is tru. then if u add all my food that is well over 2k.

    exactly.

    hell, I looked the same as you 4 months ago at 145lbs. I'm now at 162 and finally putting a little meat on my bones. Eating more doesnt have to mean eat junk.

    I eat alot of oatmeal/peanut butter sammiches/carrots....all day long

    I got some fat hiding my '6packabs' but that I will deal with when I hit 175-ish.

    consistency is the key. If you eat huge 3 days a week but skip breakfast the other 4 days, then it's going to effect your gains. Little things like that are what build up and prevent real gains.

    It sounds like you have opposing goals, too- you mention wanting to get cut but also put on size.

    Are you *actually* tracking your calories, on paper or by something like FitDay/Calorieking? Just guessing is a terrible way to do it- I can't keep track without something in writing.

    peanut butter/oatmeal/carrots is not going to cut it. what are you eating for protein? You're diet appears to be all kinds of fucked up. And stop obsesing about your abs.

    I was kidding about my abs...hence the 'quotes'


    and no...that is not my complete diet, i was referin to myself using those as options for gainer powder.

    dont worry about me...I'll be fine:rolleyes:. my goal is to gain 5pounds a month and I am right on track.

    i know its cliche by just eat more and it will help. By that I mean more FOOD not more SHAKES. I went through life with such a high metabolism people would point it out all the time. I'm almost 6'2 and at 170 I was skinny. I have been eating up for about 4 mo and I'm up to 183...I don't have much muscle yet, but I look bigger. Know what I mean?

    Even if you have a stupid fast metabolism you can still get the results if you eat right...it will just take a little longer.

    Its a marathon not a race son :bigthumb:

    Pay the 45 dollars for CalorieKing. It is very well worth it, and accurate.

    After a week or two, you actually become obsessed with it. And trust me - you will find out that you aren't eating nearly enough.

    I am LOSING weight, with exercise, and struggle to eat enough calories per day. You aren't eating enough substance, not enough meals, etc.

    How many grams of protein, carbs and fats are you eating? How many calories?

    If you can't put number on it, how can you know if you're eating enough?

    Lots of people will eat well for the first few days of the week. If your maintenance is 3500 and you manage 4000kcal for mon, tues, wed but only get 3000 on thurs, fri, sat and sun, you wont get anywhere!

    Consistency is the key. Eating the right food in the right amount EVERY SINGLE DAY.

    how many cals over bmr do you eat to bulk? how much cardio should i do?
