I've had mixed feedback :hs: Of course, I plan to a/b test all this with WebSite optimizer when i'm ready to launch.

Just curious - which layout do you think looks better?

    Homepage 1 (current layout):

Homepage 2 (new design, 3 column):

    I like #3 the most

I would however make the Purchase for $99 and Try netstudio free buttons a tad bigger to fill the space to the right of them a bit more though:dunno:

you're welcome. A learn more button might be a good idea. Could have it lead to a page that maybe lists everything from the left column in the current design

The first one has the best call to action, which the other 2 are lacking. Incorporate that into the newer ones.

I like the 2nd one, but it lacks that immediate need to click download now.

I prefer the second aesthetically, but I think the top one would get you the most business.

    i like #2.

keep the visitor saturated with information and confused so he'll take more of an interest after heightened concentration trying to sort through your website.

Third one for sure. 1st one is, as you said, a bit old.. 2nd one is WAY too busy.. 3rd one is easier to quickly figure out wtf the deal is etc.

Make the 'purchase for $99' big, and the 'free trial' small. You want the customer to know the value is in buying the service, not trying it out. They aren't equal, so show that visually.

    not quite the same market......

people who end up buying are the do it yourselfers; realtors, dentists, people with simple, one page sites that aren't likely to spend $400+ on a graphics suite.

sales are flat :hs: but thats largely due to the fact that i scaled back traffic while i sorted out product and price issues.

The first one looks so clean looking, as well the download buttons look perfectly placed! The second one I like the style, but it's so generic and the buttons don't really entice me to make a quick desicion.. I would infuse both designs together and keep those aspects, after all if you are trying to promote a product, those download links are going to be much needed, and the first style keeps that aspect into proportion. I would opt out for the first one, it flows together alot better vs the other descions feels like a split page on a page.

Then by all means disregard my advice. Listen to the data.
