Just wanted to let people know that HostMonster has been an awesome hosting service for me. If anyone is interested, certainly try them out. Decent prices, and great customer service. I've called them about 4 or 5 times with questions between midnight and 4am and they helped out immediately. They also accidentally removed my shell access twice and when I asked them why they did it, they apologized numerous times, and a couple days later, I noticed that they gave me a free 9 months of hosting.

    Just thought I'd share

yeah, they aren't too bad. I've been using them for a while too and haven't had any problems with them, other than the occasional downtime.

I was with them for like a month last year. Had downtime EVERY single day. Switch out to Hostgator, and have been down for 5 mins ONCE since then. I would never ever recommend anyone to HostMonster or BlueHost (same company)

Really? I've never had that problem. So I'll stand by them and say that they have done good to me.

by the way, have you read their ToS? Especially the part where they explain that "Unlimited" doesn't really mean unlimited, and that by them saying that they can decide, whenever they want, what it means.

Still, not much I can complain about for 4.95/month.

All shared hosting plans are like that, broseph.

Step up to the big leagues and go dedicated. You won't look back.
