If what all we're wishing for happens and Fedor gets signed by the UFC, who should he fight? Immediate title match against Couture? Get fed a can? Or a rematch / dream match against one of the contenders, before a title match?

I think I'd prefer he get an immediate title match, knocks Couture down to the light heavies again, then let the rest of the contenders line up and take shots at his belt.

Logically, he might just get a tune-up match to get accustomed to the cage and get shown to the American audience, so I can see the UFC giving him Herring or GG.

Dana said he gets an immediate title shot if he signs him.

not doubting fedor but i would rather have him fight a can only becasue of the long lay off. just get some right rust off, give him a chance to see the cage and feel it out.

I can smile when its raining.
Fedor will fight randy asap. If Fedor is rusty, makes for a good story if he wins OR loses. Either way UFC just plain WINS by getting fedor.

    Everyone wins!

And if Fedor doesn't sign with them, everyone loses.

I can't see the Fertittas shirking from throwing as much money at Fedor as is needed. I hear it's got more to do with the Red Devils stuff. It's loyal of Fedor but I can see how Dana might see that as out of line. Organisations sign fighters, not camps!

judging by his lack of a link, I am guessing the rest of the mMA community is right in that it is the Russia stipulation.
