The article doesn't really add anything most of didn't already know, although the fact that Fedor own a stake in M-1 is news to me.

However, it's interesting that Time has devoted an article to the issue. More pressure on Dana to make Fedor in the UFC happen. The article also raises an interesting point - will the UFC's refusal to sign Fedor on his terms be looked back on as a strategic blunder in planning for the organization's long-term success?

Yea it seems like he's pretty much carte blanche at the helm of the UFC, but while he doesn't always make the best choices, nobody can argue with the success he's had. I don't see Dana's leash being tightened anytime soon, at least not until the UFC begins to experience problems.

The way Dana talks about Fedor makes him seem really, really stupid.

Why would Fedor EVER join UFC with Dana talking about him like that and offering contracts like that?
