There will be lots of great fighters the UFC may never have unfortunatly. I'd love Manhoef get in there, Overeem would be a treat also. I think they should revise their contract for these fights, but I understand from a business stand point this wouldn't make sense. I'm sure he'll end up retiring in a few years anyway.

are their contracts even enforceable to a non american, who could just fight outside of the us, and possibly never return to the states.

    It's his national sport :ugh:

He loves his country, what's wrong supporting the sport he loves?

His loss in Sambo didn't completely destroy his image as he won against Arlovski.

Nothing's wrong with him supporting the sport he loves, but nothing's "unfair" about the UFC not allowing their athletes to perform elsewhere either.

Barry Zito loves to surf, is it "unfair" that his contract says he can't go surfing?

What i still don't understand is that UFC lets there fighters compete in ADCC and mundials etc but won't fedor compete in sambo...

If thats the case UFC is dumber than i thought

hockey players have these contracts, i think a boston goalie got shit one time cause he went bungee jumping or something. though it is a team sport. I'm sure lots of fighter's would like to be in fedor's position of picking and choosing when he fights and for who. it's not like he needs money. does he even own a car?
