The date of my mental/physical examination for a local Police Department.

I have about 2 month to prepare.

    Mental exam:
    Written test
    Psych Eval
    Polygraph

    Physical exam:
    300M sprint
    35 pushups
35 situps (1 minute time limit)
1.5 Mile run fast as possible

I dont think I'm going to have any issues with this, but regardless, this will be even more motivation to lift even harder in the gym.

    Wish me luck.

good luck man! And I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of our local cops can't even do that stuff.

That's just to get into the academy, there are more rigorous tests to pass before you graduate and are hired.

That's the same one I did, pretty easy. Just practice the actual test a few times beforehand. Make everyone else look bad.

    Good luck.

That's a pretty low standard, the easiest way would just be to build up the muscles needed for those excercises?

Yeah that's my plan. Weighted decline situps FTW.

What do you run the 1.5mile in now?

I would suggest learning to run longer distances then what's required for that exam, that way, the 1.5 mile won't seem so bad and you can up your pace quite a bit
