I'm not feeling the composition or shot selection / timing here. I understand that it is difficult to shoot clean in sports arenas, stadiums, rinks, etc, but there is nothing grabbing my attention in these photos.

One of the big challenges you have to deal with is bright, white ice. If you overexpose or blow it out in post, it will always grab attention away from whatever you were trying to show your viewers.

Consider shooting from a lower perspective and try to fill the frame more in your compositions to overcome this.

I understand where you're coming from.. but like I said in my blog, the lights were completely fucked that night. I was getting no connection from ice level, the strobes were firing once every 2-3 shots.

The only place I was getting reception from was the TV riser, which is the most boring place in the building. I typically shoot about half of one period from the riser, but that game I shot over 2 periods from the riser.. making for boring, average shots.

If you look at my other stuff, I'd assume you'd like it much more.

Also, for some reason the PW on my wide camera didn't fire once all night, neither did the remote camera, thus adding to how boring this game was for me.
