Ultimately I would like to get the RX7 but its possible lack of reliability and it costing $1K more than the Galant. The Galant has the sleeper look going and gets good gas milage and has a decent cooling system. Not to mention the Galant can pass emissions while the RX& needs some serious ghettofying to get it to pass.

I'd get the RX-8 because it can be made to go faster, cheaper.

    FCs are very reliable cars.
I had an 88 Turbo II that I road raced from 140 - 161K miles. Origanal engine, turbo and transmission.

It depends on how good this guy is with tuning an engine and how hard he pushes it.

If you can get a single-turbo rx-7, run it moderately rich, and don't drive like a fuck-ass all the time, your car will be fine.

    Not true.

Ben Marr in KC runs a 11 second FC on a minimal budget and doesn't blow engines. His secret?? He knows his way around a Haltech.

Both are unreliable. I'd get one of the two only if i had a real car to drive when the other didn't start. If it was my primary car i'd have to get something more reliable.

I feel that the 4g63 is ALOT more reliable than a rotary if properly taken care of.

I understand that owning a DSM automatically requires you to have reading comprehension problems, however.

I owned an 88 Turbo II.
I road raced it for over 2 years. Only thing I replaced was the clutch brakes and tires.

An FC Turbo would work your buick around any roadcourse.

    Thanks, get the fuck out.
    Warm Regards,
    Ryan

    I had a 87 TII and I loved it.
It cost me a fortune to keep it up and running though. :ugh:
