I don't read manga but I got all of Berserk. The manga continues where the anime ended so I couldn't pass it up. Need to read it one of these days.

Found a site that has Vol 18 incase your curious.

I have an unhealthy obession with manga. With all mine I could pay two semesters of college easy...plus books. My favs at the moment are; Marmalade Boy, Mars, Peach Girl (yes a sappy girl) Demon Diary, Ranma 1/2, and Dragon Knights. ;)

    wow....this thread is old.

I've read Berserk, Kenshin, Legend of Basara and Hunter x Hunter. I think Berserk is the best out of all of them but they're all good. For all these I've seen the anime reincarnation first before reading the manga. For Kenshin, the anime (excluding the crap filler episodes that never appeared in the manga) it's pretty faithul and I have +/- between the manga and anime counterparts. Overall I liked the anime better. Hunter x Hunter same deal w/ Kenshin except they censored out some of the gore in the anime version. Berserk the manga is 10X better than the anime! Tells so much more about what happened in the anime and what happened thereafter. BIG recommendation from me.
