What is your favorite paid or free antivirus program? I used to use AVG free on my last computer, just built one though and wanted to see what the best current program is out there.

I've been using Avast on my Windows PCs for a few years, I have been really happy with it and virus free.

I use CA Security Center. It actually found stuff when I installed it -- never had that happen before. It has antivirus, antispyware, personal firewall, and a spam filter. I only have the first two installed, though.

It came on a cool USB FLASH drive, too.

It actually runs in the background quite nicely.

I'm not surprised you don't like it, though.

    actually it is.
Just hope that if you ever do uninstall it, that it won't cause any major problems.

I've never had any problems uninstalling antivirus software of any brand. I think you people are just doing it wrong.
