Good job on the weight loss so far. I wouldn't rely on the BMI to track your progress though, probably not even your weight if you want to put on a little muscle. Track yourself by how your clothes fit and by what you see in the mirror...

    :werd: that's the best way

bmi really doesn't tell you too much if you have a good amount of muscle mass

I would HIGHLY recomend getting a different routine, compound lifts will be much better for you that what you are doing now in terms of building strength and loosing weight.

Great job and what a great start!! Congrats- good luck with the rest of it.

I agree: now would be a good time to start learning compound lifts, there's nothing else like them.

Thanx for the feed back guys and gal.

I like that tracker just for the bottom part. Where it has how much I have lost and how much more till I reach my goal. The way clothes fit is a great way to see where you have been and achieved.. I will have to take a picture of my belt and show ya how many new holes it has in it. Everyone is telling me to get a new one, but I like to see all the holes from beginning to eventually the end. Its starting to looks like swiss cheese.

"Compound Lifting"?? Not sure what this entails. Is there a routine or article that I can look at to get an idea on what to do? I used to weight train in high school, but that was mainly to gain mass. So at this point Im just winging it. Weight loss is my ultimate goal, and I know lifting is a very important part of losing the fat. So I would love to know that best way to obtain that. So any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

At your bodyweight and activity level, I wouldn't eat less than 2500kcal/day, even when fatloss is the goal. You need to totally overhaul your diet and start eating more with higher frequency. You're going to start dragging ass if you keep this up, especially if you fix your workout routine and turn it up in the gym as you should.

You're obviously on a Subway diet kick and consume very little fat. Fat isn't all that bad if you get it from the right foods, it will make losing fat that much easier. If you really want to limit macros while cutting, drop simple carbs. Instead of tracking fat, track protein.

Read up in the stickies and learn the way...

Yea I was thinking of consuming some more calories.. This is the way I ate in the beginning and it got me to where im at now. But that was without exercise. Just afraid if I eat more it will slow me down.. So far Ive been ok. Taking 2 multi-vitamin's and calcium. Im gonna hold off on the weight lifting this week due to over exerting myself Sunday and paying for it Tuesday badly. I need to get a right WL routine down and and put some protein shakes into my body.

I was looking that 10x3 method for weight loss, but its looks pretty much like what I was doing in the begining. Hopefully I can get some time this weekend and do alot of research.
