any other fatties out there that are losing weight but all of a sudden one day, you quit seeing change.

even though I continue to lose weight, I get upset when I look in the mirror and I'm still seeing fat.

just looking for any advice on how to deal with it.

Are you lifting? If you lift while losing fat the scale won't go down as much, but you'll look better naked.

Except if the squat rack is directly in front of it and you're using it to check your form.

Always take one month photos to look at, that way you have motivation to look better each month and you can see slow progression.

I just got over a 4 month cut phase and now I'm startng my 6 month bulk phase till another cutt phase for next summer.

Try not to stress over one particular facet of your weight lost ie. mirror. There are other things to do to mark your changes, such as your clothes (go shopping just to try on stuff if you're curious and down own any smaller clothes yet). Use a tape measure. Make note of fitness gaines (ie. being able to run for a longer amount of time or run faster, getting strength gains). Weighing yourself might do it. As long as there's progress. Just because it's not on the mirror, doesn't mean it isn't a significant change. If you're still making progress, you're still improving your health and getting closer to your goals. Every pound you shed is one less pound your heart has to deal with.

I know if can be frustrating as someone with a long road ahead of them, but I find it easiest to relax, keep doing what I'm doing, and let time take care of the rest.

I find just talking about what I'm going through and getting suggestions from people here makes me feel better when I'm feeling down too.

A lot of it is psychological. I know most of us are in gym because we don't like our appearance, so we get self-conscious about it. (maybe even eating too much crap food for the same reasons?)

The things that have helped me have been:

    a. people noticing the difference
    b. trying on old clothes and noticing they now fit
