I walk around 45mins a day, nothing else really. I eat a fair bit of meat and to much take away fried food. No sugary soda though and I dont smoke.

Id just like to go for a swim with out a shirt and not feel like a fat bastard.

    Any advice ?

My dream since i was around 17 was to join the army reserve, but I was never fit enough to try out.

My advice is to read the stickies. Everything you need to know is there.

You look heavier than 253 for some reason.

Good luck with the diet/exercise though. Its definitely plausible.

At a first glance I thought it read brolyforlife.

selvo, im kind of going through the same thing right now but im not as big at 5'4 and 153lbs. Just set a diet and routine and stick to it. People say 90% of diets dont work because they dont stick to it.

I find that putting all the foods I eat into my www.fitday.com account really helps me see how many calories I am eating and so I don't eat too much. Or just write it down on paper. Keeping track of your food helps you stick to your diet.

READ THE STICKIES. If you are too lazy to bother reading them then you should just quit now because reading is the easy part.

Because sometimes there are specific questions that aren't addressed in the stickies. Fortunately for you, your body is in no way so special or unique that the advice in the stickies won't apply to you. Honestly, if youre not willing to do simple legwork you probably aren't motivated enough to change your lifestyle.

Just try and keep in perspective that taking 20 minutes to read the noob sticky could save you hundreds of hours of wasted effort in the future.
