I've had it for about a week, but it hit stores yesterday so I thought I would share my .02 and see what you guys had to say about it.

For those of you who don't really keep up with them or know the situation... Long story short is their old screamer, Ben, basically fucked them over twice and didnt write any lyrics for this CD or the previous (Abandon Your Friends, sup irony), and ended up leaving the band. Francis, previously the drummer / backup vocalist, now frontmans FATA and does the screaming / melodies.

When I first heard the CD after so used to the old screamer, I thought all the songs sounded very similar, but after listening to it more, they are definitely some tech songs. Although Francis can't quite pull off screaming like Ben could, he definitely impressed the hell out of me in this CD. His screams remind me of Dustin of Thrice in Identity Crisis, just because he doesnt really change his tone when he pulls them off, but his singing more than makes up for it.

All in all this CD is fucking badass, and Francis' talent really shines in this album.

Cliffs - Get the new From Autumn to Ashes CD, it's fucking rad.

This is definately one of the finest, most complex albums of '07 so far. Agreed?
